Prayer made in the present petitions for quashing of the letter dated 20.07.2010, vide which respondent No.4 had invited applications to all Junior Scale Stenographers to appear in the eligibility test in Punjabi and English language for promotin to the post of Senior Scale Stenographers, might not due to efflux of time, even be surviving.

During pendency of the present petitions, the test was conducted at Chandigarh Judicial Academy on 10.06.2011 and 14.06.2011 and in the order dated 26.04.2012, it is stated that the result of the test was received in a sealed MOHIT 2025.05.28 10:00 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

CWP-18797-2010 (O&M) COCP-1328-2011 (O&M) -2cover and was opened, from which it transpired that only respondent No.5 passed the both tests and the petition was admitted while vacating the stay order, whereby the appointment/selection were ordered to remain subject to outcome of the writ petition.
