The petitioner has approached this Court seeking grant of anticipatory bail in respect of a case registered vide FIR No.96, dated 14.8.2021, Police Station Ghuman, District Batala, under Section 25 of Arms Act. 2.

Learned State counsel has submitted that despite specific directions issued by this Court on 10.1.2022, the petitioner has not joined investigation. 3.

A perusal of order dated 9.5.2022 shows that even on the said date the said position had been pointed out by the learned State counsel and consequently this Court had specifically directed the petitioner to appear before the Investigating Officer on 8.6.2022.

The aforestated position shows that the petitioner is intentionally choosing to keep away from the investigation. As such, the petitioner has disentitled himself for grant of any relief under Section 438 Cr.P.C. The instant petition, as such, is dismissed.
