JASWANT SINGH, J (ORAL) The claim of the petitioner was for stepping up his pay at par with his junior from the date of his promotion as he being a senior General Category employee had caught up with the junior Scheduled Caste employee, named, Khushbir Singh, on his promotion as Senior Assistant.

For the relief claimed, the petitioner filed CWP No.19716 of 2014, which was disposed of vide order dated 22.9.2014 directing the respondents to decide the claim set up in the legal notice dated 02.8.2014 within one month by passing a speaking order.

Learned counsel for the respondent points out that in compliance of the directions, an order dated 30.6.2015 was passed by the Secretary, Punjab School Education Board whereby the petitioner was given seniority equivalent to the alleged juniors. In

COCP No.1367 of 2015 #2# the reply filed, it is submitted that the contempt petition has become infructuous and as regards other claims, the petitioner has not been found eligible.

In view of the aforesaid, present petition is dismissed Rule is discharged.
