(Oral) In the present petition, the only grievance raised by the petitioner is that the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal be directed to expedite and decide the claim raised by the petitioner, which has been registered as MACP Case No. 628 of 2021 titled as 'Pooja Devi and others v. Sumit Kumar and another'.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that for the last two years, the reply is not being filed, which is causing prejudice to the petitioner, hence, the direction be issued to the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal. Present petition can be disposed of without issuing notice to the other party as, the speedy trial is an inherent right of a litigant. Keeping in view the facts and circumstances of the present case, the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal is directed to ensure that the proceedings in the case of the petitioner i.e. MACP Case No. 628 of 2021 titled as 'Pooja Devi and others v. Sumit Kumar and another' attains finality as soon as possible and by avoiding unnecessary adjournments. The present petition stands disposed of in above terms.
