Mr. Raman Mahajan, Advocate, for the respondent. ***** Rajan Gupta, J. (Oral) Petitioner has filed the present contempt petition alleging violation of the settlement arrived at before the Mediation and Conciliation Centre on 07.01.2017.

Mr. Mahajan submits that the wife has withdrawn the consent before the court, thus, no contempt is made out. This court finds substance in the aforesaid submission. It is not clear as to how Section 12 of the Act can be invoked in such circumstances. This petition is, thus, dismissed. Petitioner shall, however, be at liberty to seek revival thereof in case any cause of action survives.
