RAJESH BHARDWAJ, J.(ORAL) Instant petition has been filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C. praying for grant of anticipatory to the petitioner in case FIR No.102, dated 12.11.2021, under Section 498-A IPC, registered at Police Station Khanauri, District Sangrur, Annexure P-1.

Learned State counsel, at the outset submits, on instructions, that though the petitioner has joined the investigation in pursuance to the order dated 19.05.2022, however, later on FIR in question has been quashed on the basis of compromise and hence, the present petition has become infructuous and may be dismissed as such.

In view of the statement made by learned State counsel, the present petition is dismissed as having been rendered infructuous. September 30, 2022 ( RAJESH BHARDWAJ ) meenuss JUDGE 1.
