Petitioner,after her retirement as Senior Assistant on 30.9.2002 from the office of Regional Deputy Director,Ludhiana filed CWP 4200/2015 seeking a direction to respondents to count her entire adhoc/daily wage service rendered with the respondents and for grant of retiral benefits to the petitioner.
The said writ petition was disposed of by this Court vide order dated 11.3.2015 directing respondents to consider and decider her legal notice in terms of order passed by this Court in CWP 14973/1989, by passing a speaking order within a period of four months from the date of receipt of certified copy of the order. Now alleging disobedience of said order dated 11.3.2015, instant contempt petition has been filed.

COCP 1435/2016 Upon notice, reply by way of short affidavit of Parveen Kumar Thind, Director, Local Government,Punjab has been filed stating therein that in compliance with the orders dated 11.3.2015 passed by this Court, a speaking order dated 1.10.2015, annexed with the affidavit as Annexure R-1 has been passed rejecting the claim of the petitioner, as she had already taken terminal benefit for her adhoc service and double benefits can't be given for one rendered service. Today, none has put in appearance to represent the petitioner.
In view of the contents of the reply, noticed above, no further action in the instant contempt is warranted as speaking order stands passed on 1.10.2015.
Dismissed as infructuous.
