Jaswant Singh,J(Oral) Petitioners by way of CWP 1830/2015 had approached this Court with the grievance that their salaries had not been paid since September,2014, after they were regularized.

After recording the statement of learned State counsel that salaries to petitioners, on contract basis, had been paid upto January 2015 and the matter regarding their regularization was being re-examined, as earlier they were wrongly regularized by Deputy Commissioner, the said writ petition was disposed of by this Court vide order dated 6.2.2015(P-1) with an expectation that whatever decision was to be taken by the authorities regarding regularization of the petitioners, shall be taken expeditiously.

Now instant contempt petition has been filed alleging willful and intentional disobedience of the order dated 6.2.2015(P-1). Upon notice, short reply by way of affidavit of Pankaj,IAS, Deputy Commissioner, Bhiwani has been filed stating therein that in Rajinder Parshad Joshi 2017.02.07 18:11 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

COCP 1451/2016 2 compliance of the order dated 6.2.2015 the matter regarding regularization of petitioners was re-considered and disposed of vide speaking order dated 10.1.2017(R-1) rejecting their claim. It is averred that the delay in the matter was caused as the matter required through examination requiring reconsideration of earlier order passed by officer senior than the Deputy Commissioner, for which appropriate approval was sought and obtained. It is further averred that petitioners have been given hearing on 15.11.2016 and it is thereafter that the speaking order dated 10.1.2017(R-1) was passed. In view of the contents of the reply, no further action is warranted in the present contempt proceedings. Accordingly, rule is discharged.
