Petitioners filed CWP 18064/2016 claiming deemed date of appointment as Art and Craft Teachers w.e.f.20.8.2004, i.e. when other applicants and candidates who had also applied in response to the same very advertisement had been issued letters of appointment. The said writ petition was disposed of vide order dated 1.9.2016 with a direction to respondents to consider and decide the legal notice dated 6.5.2015 served by petitioners within a period of three months from the date of certified copy of the order. In the instant contempt, disobedience of said order dated 1.9.2016 has been alleged.

Upon notice, reply by way of affidavit of SS Phulia, Director, Elementary Education,Haryana has been filed stating therein Rajinder Parshad Joshi 2017.04.07 14:06 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

COCP 14/2017 that benefit of deemed date of appointment has been given to the petitioners vide order dated 13.1.2017(R-1) and thus due compliance made of the order dated 1.9.2016 passed by this Court. At the time of hearing,learned counsel for the petitioners concedes that in view of the contents of reply, no further action is warranted and the present contempt petition has become infructuous. Dismissed as infructuous.
