Notice of motion.
On the asking of court, Ms. Sudeepti Sharma, Additional Advocate General, Punjab, who is present in court, accepts notice Petitioner alleges violation of order dated 07.09.2016 passed in CWP No. 18520 of 2016. Operative part of the order reads as under:- "Having heard learned counsel for the petitioner and considering the nature of relief sought, however, without expressing any views on merits, we dispose of this writ petition with a direction to the respondents to consider the subjectclaim in the light of the above-cited judgment of this Court and if found entitled to, release the due benefits to petitioner within a period of four months from the date of receiving a certified copy of this order."
At the outset, learned counsel submits that in case decision pursuant to aforesaid order is pending, same shall be taken at the earliest, in any case not later than one month.

In case fresh cause of action accrues to the petitioner to invoke the contempt jurisdiction of this court, apart from proceedings under the Act, it shall consider imposition of punitive costs which shall be deducted from the salary of official(s) responsible for delay/non-compliance.
