CWP No. 11080 of 2016 was disposed of by this Court on 16.6.2016 directing the 2nd respondent to finalize the out come of DPC meeting that was held on 15.2.2016 within one week from the date of the said order, inasmuch as it was demonstrated by the writ petitioner therein that he was retiring on 30.6.2016.
An affidavit was filed by Sh. Kahan Singh Pannu, IAS, Secretary to Government of Punjab, Department of Irrigation, who is also present today informing the Court that the order passed in the Writ Petition was complied with on 15.2.2017 vide Annexure R1 attached with the above affidavit. It is also reported that the petitioner also has joined on the same Parvinder Singh 2017.02.28 15:49 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Chandigarh
COCP No. 1455 of 2016 (O&M) date on the promotion post vide Annexure R2.
Inasmuch as the order passed by this Court in CWP 11080 of 2016 has been complied with, the respondents 1 and 2 are discharged from this contempt proceedings. The contempt proceedings are ordered accordingly.

Permission is granted. The application stands dismissed as withdrawn.
