(Oral) Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he is a social activist and that he had a dispute with workers of the ruling party over participation in the farmers protest and on account of which he is sought to be harassed by members of the ruling party and is being called to the police station.

Having heard learned counsel for the petitioner and without commenting anything as regards the merits of the case, the petition is disposed of with a direction to Senior Superintendent of Police, Ferozepur (respondent No.3) that in case the petitioner is required to be associated with any inquiry or any information is to be elicited from him particularly in PANKAJ KAKKAR 2021.01.08 17:57 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
