Mr.R.D.Yadav, Advocate, for the petitioner.
Mr.Sushil Gautam, DAG, Haryana Rajan Gupta, J (Oral) Petitioner alleges violation of order dated 21.4.2016 passed by a coordinate bench (R.K.Jain, J). Operative part thereof reads as under:- "In view of the above facts and circumstances, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to the concerned department to supply requisite information to the petitioner within 30 days from the date of passing of this order." Grievance of the petitioner is that despite efforts he has not been supplied the requisite information by the respondents. Only a letter dated 15.1.2009 was received by him supplying the correspondence between the various offices in the District.
Pursuant to order dated 7.11.2016, Manoj Kumar, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Rewari is present in court. He submits that he is not an authority under the RTI Act. He has, however, assisted the court being in a responsible position in the District. Learned State counsel has sought instructions from him and submits that reply shall be sent to the petitioner within two weeks. If any information is available in the concerned office,
COCP No. 1539 of 2016 2 same shall be furnished to the petitioner. Reply would be in the nature of a speaking order.
In view of statement made by learned State counsel, no cause of action survives in this petition.
Disposed of.
Petitioner shall, however, be at liberty to seek appropriate remedy in case any cause of action still survives.
A copy of this order be handed over to learned State counsel under the signatures of Bench Secretary.
