Learned State counsel submits that order passed by writ court has been complied with. He has referred to paras 4 & 5 of the affidavit filed. Same reads as under:- "4. That the whole amount of interest has been calculated for the period from 01.08.2012 to 21.03.2013 i.e. 7 months 18 days, the details of which is as under:- a) Total amount = 1180572X9%/100=Rs. 106251.48p.a. b) Interest of one month=106251.48/12=Rs8854.29 p.m. c) Seven months=8854.29x7=Rs. 61980.03 only.
d) Interest of one day=8854.29/31=Rs285.622 only e) Interest of 18 days=285.622x18=Rs. 5141.16 only
5. That on the total amount of interest @9% on the whole amount paid to the petitioner i.e. 11,80,572/- comes to Rs. 67121/- for the period of 7 months, 18 days and Rs. 10,000/- (litigation charges) amounts to a sum of Rs. 77121/-. This amount has also been got deposited in the account of the petitioner bearing No. 0171000110026791 of Punjab National bank, Branch Ferozepur on dated 21.7.2016." COCP No. 1571 of 2015 In view of above, no cause of action survives in this petition. Same is hereby dismissed. Rule is discharges.
