The present petition has been filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. for directing the respondent Nos.1 to 4 not to illegally use the State machinery to obstruct the business activities of the petitioner by summoning them to police station time and again and not to compel the petitioner No.2 to cancel the agreement to sell dated 16.01.2019.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the present petition has been rendered infructuous as the matter stands settled. 3.
Notice of motion was issued on 10.01.2020, pursuant thereto reply dated 22.03.2022 by way of an affidavit of Ashok Kumar, Assistant Sub Inspector, P.S. Satnampura, Phagwara, Sub Division Phagwara, District Kapurthala has been filed on behalf of respondent No.4.
