Land of Jage Ram alongwith three other co-sharers, namely, Ram Narain, Raghbir Singh and Randhir Singh was acquired in the year 1983 for establishing Sector 24, Panipat. Two sons of Jage Ram namely Satpal Singh and Jagpal Singh(petitioners) were allotted a residential plot to the extent of share of each co-sharer, bearing No.1130 measuring 250 square meters in the residential sector 24 in terms of the oustee policy dated 12.3.1993 vide allotment letter dated 15.5.2007 issued by HUDA. In view of the subsequent pronouncements of Full Bench of this Court in Jarnail Singh and others v State of Punjab and others, in CWP 2575/2009 decided on 1.10.2010 and Sandeep and others v HUDA, entitling each co-sharer for individual consideration, the petitioners approached this Court for relief of exclusive allotment of the said plot. The writ petition filed by the petitioners was disposed of vide order dated 14.12.2016 by directing HUDA Authorities to pass a speaking order. COCP 1517/2017 the needful was not done, the instant contempt was filed. Upon notice a reply has been filed in Court. Alongwith the reply, a speaking order dated 31.7.2017 dealing with the entire position has been placed on record. In view of the aforesaid order dated 31.7.2017 no case for continuing the contempt petition is made out.
