RAJESH BHARDWAJ, J.(ORAL) Prayer in the present petition is for issuance of directions to respondents No.1 to 3 to take the voice sample of respondent No.4/accused in FIR No.356, dated 18.10.2021, under Section 306 IPC, registered at Police Station City Kharar, District SAS Nagar, Annexure P-3. It has been submitted by counsel for the petitioners that respondent No.4 had approached this Court by way of filing CRM-M49286-2021 wherein she volunteered to give her voice sample but despite that the Investigating Agency has not taken her voice sample till date. He has submitted that the petitioners have already filed a representation, dated 25.11.2022, Annexure P-5, but no action has been taken on the same. Notice of motion to official respondents only. On the asking of the Court, Mr. P.S.Grewal, Deputy Advocate General, Punjab, who is present in Court, accepts notice on behalf of the respondent/State.

After hearing the counsel for the parties, the present petition is MEENU 2023.01.10 13:10 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this order/judgment
