HARSH BUNGER, J. (ORAL) Prayer in the present petition, filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure 1973, is for issuance of direction to respondents No.1 and 2 to take necessary legal action to deport or bring back respondent No.4 from abroad (Canada) to face trial in case FIR No.44 dated 14.10.2021 registered under Sections 420 and 120-B of the Indian Penal Code, at Police Station NRI, Ludhiana, before the competent Court of jurisdiction at Ludhiana.

On 16.03.2023, learned counsel for the respondent-State sought time to place on record the copy of `Look Out Circular' and also to apprise the Court as to whether the same is still in force. 3.

Pursuant thereto, status report by way of an affidavit of GURPREET KAUR 2023.04.18 19:04 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment

Para no.4 of the said affidavit reads as under :-

4. That pursuant to the directions issued by this Hon'ble High Court vide order dated 16.03.2023, the deponent has checked the current status of the aforementioned Look Out Circulars, and as per the record, the said Look Out Circulars are presently reflected in the "Active" category."

In view of the above, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he may be permitted to withdraw the present petition. 6.
