The petitioner assails order dated 11.11.2019 (Annexure P-8) vide which the petitioner's case for his premature release has been declined. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that as of now the petitioner has been behind bars since the last about 19 years and 10 months and that, in any case, after completing 20 years of custody, he would be entitled for his premature release.

In view of the aforestated position particularly the substantially changed circumstances i.e. the custody having further increased since the date when petitioner's case for his premature release was earlier considered, the instant petition is disposed off with a direction to the authorities concerned to consider the matter afresh as regards premature release of the petitioner in accordance with the policy as may be applicable to the case of the petitioner PANKAJ KAKKAR 2023.04.27 15:06 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document
