This contempt petition was tagged with the main writ petition.

The Registry has informed that vide judgment dated 16.01.2023, the writ petitions have disposed of in terms of an earlier order passed by this Court in Promila Sharma's case. Counsel for the respondent submits that the said writ petition i.e. CWP No.10176 of 2011, is pending admitted awaiting the order of the Hon'ble Supreme Court.

Since the main writ petitions have been disposed of, the interim order merges with the same and accordingly, this petition is disposed of having been rendered infructuous with liberty to the petitioner to move an application for revival, if so advised.
