Learned State counsel has referred to affidavit dated 10.11.2016 filed by Sukhmainder Singh, Executive Engineer, Water Supply and Sanitation Division No. 3, Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar. According to him, substantial amount have already been released to the petitioner from time to time. There was also balance payment which was also paid on 10.10.2016. In view of above, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he may be allowed to withdraw this petition with liberty to make a representation about the interest, if any, payable.
