(Oral) The present contempt petition has been filed for noncompliance of the order dated 8.5.2018, vide which direction was issued to respondent No.4 to decide the legal notice dated 12.12.2017 of the petitioner.
Reply to the contempt petition filed in Court is taken on record. As per reply, the petitioner is to be paid `13,51,783/- towards gratuity, leave encashment and provident fund, however, the same could not be paid on account of financial crunch. It is further stated that the amount shall be paid to the petitioner within four months with interest @ 9% per annum.
In view of the said reply, the present contempt petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent to pay the aforesaid amount to the petitioner within four months by 6.4.2019. In case, the amount is not paid by the said date, the respondent shall be liable to pay penalty to be recovered from the concerned officer/official. Rule issued to the respondent stands discharged.
