NIRMALJIT KAUR, J. (ORAL) The contempt petition is filed for non-compliance of the order dated 19.02.2018 vide which a direction was issued to dispose of the pending representation filed by the petitioner in accordance with law. Reply/compliance report has been filed. As per the said reply, the said representation has been decided by way of passing a speaking order dated 04.05.2018, placed on record as Annexure R1. In this view of the matter, no useful purpose would be served in continuing with the contempt petition. The same is hereby dismissed. The rule issued against the respondent(s) stands discharged. However, if petitioner is still aggrieved with the order dated 04.05.2018, he is at liberty to challenge the same in accordance with law, if so advised.
