*** Daya Chaudhary, J. (Oral) Learned State counsel submits that in compliance of order passed by this Court on 07.11.2016 in CWP No.20997 of 2015, the departmental inquiry has been conducted and the petitioner was also given opportunity of personal hearing. The petitioner has been acquitted of the charges by the Criminal Court by giving benefit of doubt but in the departmental inquiry, charges have been proved against him. By considering the inquiry report, 50% of the gratuity amount has been forfeited and the remaining amount has been released to the petitioner. Since the order passed by this Court has been complied with, nothing remains in the present contempt petition and the same is disposed of accordingly.

COCP No.167 of 2017 (O&M) be released to the petitioner within a period of two weeks from today and in case, the petitioner is still aggrieved in any manner, he is at liberty to avail the appropriate remedy.
