The claimants/appellants have filed the present appeal for enhancement. Vide award dated 04.10.2021, the appellants were granted a compensation of ₹14,79,040/- along with interest. 2.

Learned counsel for the appellants as well as learned counsel for the Insurance Company have jointly submitted that the matter has been amicably settled before the Mediation and Conciliation Centre of this Court and a detailed settlement agreement dated 11.09.2025 has been arrived at and as per the said settlement agreement, an amount of ₹70,000/- as additional compensation is to be paid to the appellants by respondent No.3 in the account mentioned in the agreement. It has been jointly submitted that the said compromise has been entered into without any coercion or undue influence and it is prayed that the present appeal be disposed of in terms of the said compromise.

Keeping in view the abovesaid facts and circumstances, the PUNEET SACHDEVA 2025.10.31 15:55 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh present appeal is disposed of and the award of the Tribunal is modified in

FAO No.1397 of 2022 (O&M) -2-\ terms of the settlement agreement dated 11.09.2025. Both the parties would be bound by the terms of the said agreement.

Respondent No.3 is directed to pay an amount of ₹70,000/- as additional compensation into the account number, which has been mentioned in para 5 of the settlement agreement within a period of six weeks from today.
