Notice of motion.

On the asking of court, Mr. Aditya Sharda, AAG Punjab, who is present in court, accepts notice on behalf of the respondent. Petitioner alleges violation of order dated 03.10.2017 passed by this court. Operative part thereof reads as under:- "Without making any comment on the merits of the case, present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No. 4-Senior Superintendent of Police, Muktsar, to look into the contents of representation dated 09.06.2017 (Annexure P-4) and to act in accordance with law, preferably within a period of six months."

Learned State counsel submits that in case investigation is still pending, it shall be ensured that same be completed at the earliest and final report (under section 173 Cr.P.C) presented before the competent court. In view of statement made by State counsel, no further direction is necessary. Disposed of.
