NIRMALJIT KAUR, J. (ORAL) It is not disputed that the entire amount has been paid except the interest towards the special increment.
In view of the same, contempt petition is dismissed. Rule issued against the respondents stand discharged. However, there is no direction to pay interest on the special increments either in the order dated 04.11.2015 or in the order passed by the Apex Court in the case of State of Punjab and others vs Tarlok Chand and others 2014(4) SCT 361.
In case the petitioner is still aggrieved with the non-grant of interest, he is at liberty to avail remedy as available to him under the law for claim of the interest on the said amount.
