*** This case has been taken up through video conferencing in the National Lok Adalat in the light of Covid-19 pandemic. It has submitted by learned counsel for the appellant-Insurance Company that the matter has been settled between the parties. There is no change in the amount of award passed by the Tribunal, but however, rate of interest has been amicably settled to be 5% per annum, instead of 8% per annum and other recitals relating to the payment of award amount as well as recovery rights, shall remain same. The above settlement is acceptable to the respondents.

In view of the same, the present case is hereby disposed of with the modification of rate of interest, which shall now be payable @ 5% per annum, on the amount so awarded by the Tribunal, instead of 8% per annum.
