Hon'ble Mr.Justice Jaswant Singh Present:- Mr.Sunny Singla,Advocate for the petitioners. Jaswant Singh,J,(Oral).
This common order shall dispose of aforesaid two contempt petitions as the matter involved is identical. The petitioners are aspirant for appointment against the post of Assistant Linemen advertised on 29.11.2017 by the Punjab State Power Corporation Limited. They are averred to have 2-year apprenticeship with PSPCL and therefore, are seeking relaxation in the age restriction of maximum of 42 years.
The present contempt petitions have been filed with the allegations that the interim directions passed in their writ petitions permitting them to participate in the selection process have not been complied with.
After arguing for sometime and having failed to convince the Court, learned counsel seeks permission to withdraw both the contempt petitions.
