The present contempt was filed for the alleged violation of the directions contained in the order dated dated 14.7.2016 passed by this Court whereby respondent was directed to consider the grievance of the petitioner raised in her legal notice dated 25.5.2016 and decide the same within a period of three months from the date of receipt of certified copy of the said order.

By way of CM 6210-CII/2018 short affidavit dated 21.3.2018 of respondent has been filed. It is stated therein that in compliance of the order dated 14.7.2016 passed by this Court, revised pension case of the petitioner was forwarded to Accountant General,Punjab for revision of petitioner's pension after counting the service rendered by her against Government aided post for the purpose of retiral benefits. It is further stated that office of Accountant General,Punjab vide letter dated 28.2.2018 Rajinder Parshad Joshi 2018.03.27 18:07 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

COCP 177/2017 (O&M) (R-2) has already revised the pension of the petitioner. Further in paras 5 and 6 of the said affidavit the details of payments made to the petitioner on account of death cum retirement gratuity and arrears of revised pension has been furnished. The reasons for delay in implementing the order of this Court have also been explained.

Learned counsel for the petitioner concedes that order dated 14.7.2016 passed by this Court stands fully complied with and no further action is warranted in the instant contempt.

Disposed of as infructuous.
