HARINDER SINGH SIDHU, J Petitioners have prayed for issuance of a writ in the nature of Mandamus directing the official respondents to protect their life and liberty at the hands of respondent No.4.

Upon notice, a reply by way of affidavit dated 03.03.2021 of the Assistant Commissioner of Police, Kalka has been filed on behalf of respondent Nos.1 to 3, wherein it is stated that statements (R.1 & R.2) of the petitioners were recorded. They have stated that now there is no danger to their life and liberty at the hands of private respondents and thus there is no need for police protection in this regard. In view thereof, no direction is required to be issued. Disposed of accordingly.
