Petitioner filed CWP 14398/2005 seeking employment being dependent of Government employee (his father) disabled during service. The said writ petition was disposed of by a Division Bench of this Court vide order dated 21.1.2016 directing respondents to confer upon the petitioner benefit of instructions/policy dated 23.11.1992 in accordance with law and subject to the petitioner fulfilling all other requirements. The needful was to be done by 31.3.2016. Alleging disobedience of said order dated 21.1.2016 instant contempt has been filed.

Notice of motion was issued.

At the time of hearing today, learned Additional Advocate General,Haryana has produced an affidavit dated 16.3.2017 furnished Rajinder Parshad Joshi 2017.03.21 16:19 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

COCP 1859/2016 by Sarwan Kumar Langyan-respondent no.4 stating therein that State Government filed SLP CC No(s).20872/2016 against the order dated 21.1.2016 passed by this Court in CWP 14398/2005. The said SLP was dismissed by Hon'ble the Supreme Court vide order dated 2.12.2016 and thereafter the order dated 21.1.2016 passed by this Court has been complied with. In support, a copy of letter dated 15.3.2017(Annexure R-1) has been annexed with the affidavit whereby petitioner has been offered appointment to the post of Beldar under employment to the dependent Government employees disabled during service, subject to his fulfilling conditions laid down therein. The said affidavit dated 16.3.2017 is taken on record.

None has put in appearance on behalf of the petitioner. In view of the contents of the reply and the order Annexure R-1, it is apparent that the instant contempt petition has been rendered infructuous.

Dismissed as having become infructuous.
