(oral) Pursuant to the notice issued by this Court, the respondent has filed reply by way of an affidavit of Jagmohan Singh, holding the charge of Chief Engineer, Ranjit Sagar Dam Project, Irrigation Works, Punjab, Shahpurkandi Township Tehsil and District Pathankot, in which it is averred that the claim of the petitioner has been rejected because he has not furnished legal heirs certificate and 'No Objection Certificate' of all the legal heirs of the land owners.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that some time may be granted to him to submit said documents to the respondent, who may be directed to reconsider the case of the petitioner after receipt of the said documents. In view of the above, the present petition is hereby disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to make comprehensive SATYAWAN 2015.11.05 10:19 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document High Court Chandigarh

COCP-1895-2015 -2representation to the respondent specifically referring to the legal heirs and 'No Objection Certificate' obtained from all the legal heirs of the land owners, in support of his claim. As soon as the representation is received by the respondent, he would decide the same within a period of one month from the date of receipt. Decision of the same be conveyed to the petitioner.
