Notice of motion.

On the asking of court, Ms. Ambika Sood, DAG Punjab, who is present in court, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. Petitioner alleges violation of order dated 21.11.2017 passed by this court. Operative part thereof reads as under:- "The petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No. 2-SSP, Patiala to look into the grievance of the petitioner contained in representations Annexures P-4 & P-5 and thereafter if it comes out that some action needs to be taken it be so done in accordance with law within a period of two months from the date of receipt of copy of this order in his office." Learned State counsel submits that in case representations are still pending with the concerned authority, decision thereon shall be taken expeditiously, in any case not later than two weeks. In view of statement made by State counsel, no further direction is necessary. Disposed of.
