COCP-1885-2018 It is not disputed that the order has been complied with by way of a speaking order dated 17.12.2018 by which the petitioner has been granted promotion as Principal w.e.f. 20/23.07.2007, i.e. the date when juniors to him were promoted. He is, however, aggrieved of the fact that no arrears have been given and it is only a notional pay fixation. In view of the above, no contempt is made out. The same is dismissed.

Rule issued against the respondents stands discharged. However, the petitioner is at liberty to challenge the said part of the order vide which he is aggrieved in accordance with law. April 03, 2019 ( NIRMALJIT KAUR ) meenuss JUDGE 1.
