HARINDER SINGH SIDHU, J Petitioners have filed this petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for quashing of FIR No.0180 dated 24.10.2020 under Sections 420,120-B IPC registered at P.S Sadar Rupnagar, Tehsil and District Rupnagar and all other consequential proceedings arising out of the said FIR, as the matter stands amicably settled in terms of compromise. Vide order dated 08.01.2021, the parties were directed to appear before the trial Court/Illaqa Magistrate upto 09.03.2021 for getting their statements recorded with regard to the compromise and the learned Magistrate was directed to send a report about the genuineness and veracity of the compromise.

CRM-M-806 of 2021 #2# received. As per the report, the parties had appeared before learned Magistrate and got recorded their statements regarding compromise. Learned Magistrate has stated that she is of the considered view that the compromise between the parties is valid, genuine, voluntary and without any coercion or undue influence.

Accordingly, the present petition is allowed. FIR No.0180 dated 24.10.2020 under Sections 420,120-B IPC registered at P.S Sadar Rupnagar, Tehsil and District Rupnagar along with all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom, are hereby quashed qua the petitioners.
