*** HARSIMRAN SINGH SETHI , J. (ORAL) Learned counsel for the petitioner states that petitioner has already retired from service on 31.07.2019, but all the pensionary benefits including pension for which he is entitled for, have not been released to him without there being any impediment.
Learned counsel for the petitioner further argues that only a sum of `3,00,000/- has been released to the petitioner and that too with any description. The prayer of the petitioner is for issuance of a direction to respondent No.4 to release all the pensionary benefits including pension, forthwith.
Counsel for the petitioner states that for the relief, which is being claimed in the present writ petition, petitioner has submitted a representation dated 15.10.2019 (Annexure P-2) to respondent No.4, NARESH KUMAR 2020.01.16 17:17 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Chandigarh
CWP-699-2020 -2which is still pending consideration and the petitioner will be satisfied, at this stage, in case a time bound direction is issued to respondent No.4 to decide the said representation.
In view of the request made, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case or the claim being made by the petitioner, respondent No.4 is directed to decide the representation dated 15.10.2019 (Annexure P-2) by passing a speaking order within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order. In case after the decision, it is found that the petitioner is entitled for any monetary benefit, the same shall also be released to him within a period of next three months.
Present writ petition stands disposed of.
