The present petition has been filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 for quashing of FIR No.83 dated 09.03.2021 registered under Sections 498-A, 406, 506 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 at Police Station Civil Line, District Sonepat (Annexure P-1), and all subsequent proceedings arising out of the said FIR, on the basis of a compromise.

Ms. Anu Singh, respondent No.2 has appeared in person and has also handed over a copy of the order dated 01.05.2023 passed by the Family Court, Faridabad wherein she has withdrawn her consent in the petition filed under Section 13-B of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955 for grant of divorce by way of mutual consent and the petition itself was dismissed by YOGESH SHARMA 2023.08.25 10:18 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this judgment/order.
