*** Sudhir Mittal, J. (Oral) This petition has been filed for quashing of order dated 18.7.2022 passed by the Magistrate cancelling the bail bonds of the petitioner on account of non-appearance.

It is submitted that the petitioner could not appear on the said date as he was arrested in FIR No.118 dated 18.07.2022. The petitioner has never avoided appearance and has been present on all dates of hearing. Thus, the impugned order deserves to be quashed. Notice of motion.

Mr. Harkanwarjit Singh, DAG, Punjab, accepts notice and waives service.

Considering the nature of order being passed, no reply is necessary to be filed.

Petition is disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to surrender before the trial Court on 06.02.2023 and seek regular bail. In case, such a petition is filed, the same shall be allowed.
