This is third petition for grant of regular bail pending trial in a criminal case arising from FIR No. 34, dated 18.02.2019, registered under Section 379-B, 411 & 34 IPC, at Police Station City, Hoshiarpur, District Hoshiarpur.

The first petition for grant of regular bail to the petitioner was dismissed on 13.12.2019, with the following order:- "Petitioner prays for grant of regular bail in FIR no. 34 dated 18.2.2019 registered under Sections 379-B, 411, 34 IPC at Police Station City Hoshiarpur, District Hoshiarpur. As per the case of the prosecution, a purse was snatched from the first informant containing Rs.8000/- cash, one lady gold chain, 5 ladies rings, gold earrings, two gold ladies wrist rings, one mobile phone containing two SIMs and Aadhar card. Petitioner was driving the motorcycle.

Learned State counsel on instructions from ASI Sodhi Ram submits that substantial items have been recovered from the custody of the petitioner i.e one gold chain, one gold kara, one pair of gold earrings and two rings. Learned State counsel further informs that there is CCTV footage of the incident, which is part of the challan.

Keeping in view the aforesaid facts, this Court is not inclined to grant concession of regular bail to the petitioner. Hence, dismissed".

The second petition was also dismissed with the following order on 21.08.2020:- "This is second petition for grant of bail to the petitioner in a criminal case arising from FIR No.34, dated 18.02.2019, registered under Section 379-A/34 IPC (Section 411 IPC added subsequently), at Police Station City Hoshiarpur, District Hoshiarpur.

In the caption of the petition as well as in paragraph 12, it has been stated that the petitioner has not filed any such or similar petition previously.

The office has pointed out that the previous petition filed by the petitioner i.e. CRM-M-5178 of 2019 was dismissed on 13.12.2019.

This court has also verified this fact from the High Court Website. The petitioner did file a petition for grant of bail in aforesaid FIR which was dismissed on 13.12.2019.

In view of the aforesaid, this court declines to hear the petitioner on merits, since, the present petitioner is found to have concealed material facts from the court. Dismissed".

Learned counsel for the petitioner fails to draw attention of the Court to any fresh ground for grant of regular bail to the petitioner. Hence, the present petition is dismissed.
