Notice of motion.
Petitioner has prayed for writ in the nature of mandamus to direct the respondents to grant benefits of minimum pay-scales alongwith allowances in terms of judgment of Full Bench of this court in CWP No. 14796 of 2003 titled as Avtar Singh vs. State of Punjab decided on 11.11.2011. He further submits that he would confine his prayer for arrears only to three years prior to filing of the writ petition. Mr. Aditya Sharma, AAG Punjab, who is present in court, on instructions from Mr. Avtar Singh Batra, SDE, Department of Water & Sanitation Department submits that needful shall be done and payment would be released to the petitioner within two week's.
