**** HARNARESH SINGH GILL , J. (ORAL) Case is taken up for hearing through video conferencing. This is a petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for issuance of directions to respondents No. 2 and 3 to take appropriate legal action on the complaints dated 19.11.2020 (Annexures P-3 and P-4), moved by the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is a transporter and also District President of Punjab Human Rights Organization, Jalandhar Unit and he has already been granted police protection. He further submits that on the complaint of the petitioner, FIR No. 306 dated 28.11.2018 under Sections 452, 323, 324, 326, 307, 342, 120-B IPC (Sections 353, 186, 427, 148 and 149 IPC added later on) and Sections 25 and 27 of the Arms Act, 1959 has been registered at Police Station Division No. 6, Police Commissionerate Jalandhar and now Sagar Newton and Movish Bains are in the custody of Chandigarh Police and they have given confessional statements. CRM-M No. 853 of 2021 -2has also made complaints dated 19.11.2020 (Annexures P-3 and P-4) but no action has been taken on the same so far.

Notice of motion.

On the asking of the Court, Mr. A.M.Punchhi, Public Prosecutor with Mr. Anupam Bansal, Advocate, accepts notice on behalf of the U.T and submits that though the accused have suffered the confessional statements, yet no case is made out.

Keeping in view the above, the present petition is disposed of with the direction to respondent No. 2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Chandigarh to look into the complaints dated 19.11.2020 (Annexures P-3 and P-4) and decide the same, in accordance with law within a month from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
