The present contempt petition has been filed pleading wilful disobedience of order dated 06.12.2017 passed by this Court in CWP No.26073 of 2017.

The only bone of contention surviving in the contempt petition is that some balance amount is still pending in pursuance to order dated 10.01.2018 passed by the Divisional Engineer, Lining Division No.1, Punjab Water Resources Management & Development Corporation Ltd., Ferozepur.

COCP No.198 of 2018 -2Singla, Divisional Engineer, Lining Division No.1, Punjab Water Resources Management & Development Corporation Ltd., Ferozepur states that balance payment in pursuance to the order dated 10.01.2018 would be paid within three months from today. In view of statement made, no cause of action survives for pursuing the contempt petition.

The contempt petition is disposed of.
