On 05.01.2023, this Court has passed the following order in Sukhpal Singh and Another v. State of Punjab and Others (Civil Writ Petition No. 30239 of 2022):- "The petitioners are challenging the additional charge assigned to them by the competent authority. They allege that while having been posted against a sanctioned post, they are being required to perform additional duties at different locations.
Sh. Charanpreet Singh, Assistant Advocate General, Punjab, submits that efforts are being made to ensure that the petitioners shall not be forced to discharge their public duties at two different places, at the same time.

The learned counsel representing the petitioner submits that this writ petition be disposed of in the same terms as in Sukhpal Singh's case (supra).
