NIRMALJIT KAUR, J. (ORAL) The contempt petition is filed for non-compliance of the order dated 27.09.2016 vide which a direction was issued to consider the legal notice (Annexure P-4).

Reply has been filed. As per the said reply, the case of the petitioner was considered and vide a speaking order dated 03.05.2017 accepted claim of the petitioner for revising the pay after the grant of ACP. The said order has been placed on record as Annexure R/1/1. Further, it is specifically stated in para 4 of the reply filed by respondent No.2 that arrears on account of proficiency step up, leave encashment and revised pension benefits have also been released to the petitioner by way of various cheques as mentioned in the said reply.

In view of the same, contempt is dismissed.

COCP-1987-2017 -2The rule issued against the respondent(s) stands discharged. However, in case the petitioner is still aggrieved in any manner and if there is any discrepancy in the said amount or he is aggrieved with the non-payment of interest, he is at liberty to avail the remedy as available to him under the law.
