(ORAL) The petitioner has filed the present petition under Section 439(2) Cr.P.C. for cancellation of anticipatory bail granted to respondent No. 2 by the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Jalandhar, vide order dated 30.11.2021 (Annexure P-7) in case FIR No. 89 dated 07.08.2021 registered under Sections 498-A IPC (Section 406 IPC was added later on) at Police Station Women, Police Commissionerate, Jalandhar. On instructions from ASI Jaswant Singh, learned counsel for the State submits that the challan in the present case was presented on 18.01.2022; thereafter, charges have been framed by the learned trial Court on 01.06.2023; and examination-in-chief of the complainant has also been conducted. Therefore, it is submitted that nothing survives in RISHU KATARIA 2024.03.15 19:25 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment.
