Ajit Singh @ Nanu v. State Of Punjab
IN THE HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB AND HARYANA
AT CHANDIGARH CRM-M-1605 OF 2021 DATE OF DECISION :- January 13, 2021 Ajit Singh @ Nanu
...Petitioner
Versus
State of Punjab
...Respondent
CORAM:
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE H.S. MADAAN Present:- Mr. Jimmy Singla, Advocate for the petitioner. Mr. J.S. Ghumman, DAG, Punjab.
*** The case has been taken up through Video Conferencing. The present petition is misconceived, inasmuch as the relief sought for by filing the present petition has already been granted by learned Additional Sessions Judge (Exclusive Court for heinous crimes against Women), Patiala by directing that "in case the learned Principal Magistrate, Juvenile Justice Board, Patiala comes to the conclusion that the charge ought to be amended by adding offence under Section 376 IPC and the relevant provisions of POCSO Act, the Principal Magistrate would admit to its satisfaction the bail applicant to bail under Section 376 IPC and the relevant provisions of POCSO Act". In that way, this petition is not maintainable and is dismissed accordingly.
