On the asking of court, Mr.Aditya Sharda, AAG, Punjab accepts notice on behalf of State of Punjab.
Petitioner alleges violation of order dated 1.2.2017 passed by a coordinate bench (Jaishree Thakur, J). Operative part thereof reads as under:- " I have heard learned counsel for the petitioner and without going into the merits of the case disposed of the instant writ petition by giving liberty to the petitioner herein to submit a fresh representation giving details of her grievances within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. In case such a representation is filed, the respondents are directed to dispose of the same by passing a speaking order within a period of three months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
The writ petition stands disposed of accordingly."
It has been stated before the court that representation filed by the petitioner has not been decided till now.
COCP No. 2042 of 2017 3 Under the circumstances, this petition is disposed of with another opportunity to the respondents to purge the contempt. In case, needful is not done within one month from today, petitioner shall be at liberty to seek revival of this petition. In that eventuality, this court shall also consider imposition of exemplary costs which shall not be less than Rs.30,000/-. Same shall be deducted from the salary of the official(s) responsible for non-compliance/delay.
