PANKAJ JAIN, J. (ORAL) Status Report by way of affidavit of Assistant Commissioner of Police (West), Ludhiana has been filed on behalf of respondent/State, today in Court; Be kept with the record.

On 10th of January, 2020 following order was passed :- "Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner had been granted interim anticipatory bail on 27.10.2017 which was confirmed vide order dated 14.11.2017 (Annexure P2 Colly) passed by Additional Sessions Judge, Ludhiana. However, since the petitioner fell from stairs and sustained head injury and injury near his right ear, he could not appear before the trial Court from June, 2019 onwards. As a result, vide order dated 01.10.2019, non bailable warrants were issued and subsequently vide order dated 07.11.2019, proclamation under Section 82 Cr.P.C. was issued to secure presence of the petitioner. He further submits that the matter is coming up before trial Court on 27.01.2020 and he will appear before the trial Court within 10 days from today and till then he may be granted interim protection.

As per the status report, it has been submitted that pursuant thereto, the petitioner has appeared before the Trial Court and is continuously appearing.

Para No.6 of the Status Report reads as under :- "6. That in compliance to the interim protection granted to the petitioner by this Hon'ble Court vide order dated 10.01.2020, the petitioner is appearing before the the Ld. Trial Court and direction has been issued by this Hon'ble Court that no coercive action be taken against the petitioner for securing his presence before the Ld. Trial Court. In this case Challan/Final Report was presented before the Ld. Court on 12.02.2019 and Charges were framed on 16.08.2022. There are total 14 prosecution witnesses in this case but no evidence has been recorded as yet and now the trial is pending in the Court of Ms. Manjinder, Ld. Addl. Sessions Judge, Ludhiana and is fixed for 21.11.2022 for recording prosecution evidence and Bailable Warrants of ASI Mool Raj and ASI Daljit Singh have been issued by the Ld. Trial Court for the said date."

In view of the aforesaid fact, nothing survives at the hands of this Court to adjudicate in the present petition. 6.
Disposed off accordingly.
