In compliance of the orders dated 12.02.2024 and 19.02.2024, the parties are present and have been interacted and petitioner No. 1 has agreed to join the company of her parents, however, in light of the peculiar facts and circumstances of this case, respondent No. 3 SHO, Police Station Naraingarh, District Ambala, is directed to record the statement of the parents of the girl, that is, petitioner No.1, that she will not be forcibly married to any other boy as she express her firm intention to marry petitioner No. 2 after he attains the age of marriage. The statement of the parents of petitioner No. 2 will also be recorded on the same lines by respondent No. 3.

The respondent No. 3 is directed to keep in touch with the petitioners and share his telephone number so that in case of any exigency, PARUL 2024.02.27 10:39 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document the petitioners can inform him.

The petitioners have assured this Court that they will not behave in a manner which is in contravention of any law and shall ensure that a congenial atmosphere is maintained.

In the meanwhile, the petitioners shall also complete their academic endeavors and the private respondents shall not issue any threat to the petitioners.

With the above said direction, the present petition stands disposed of.

It is made clear that filing or pendency of this petition or any order/direction passed in this petition shall not be an alibi or defence to the petitioners, in case, they are found involved in any illegal activity and the respondent-Authorities shall take appropriate action, in accordance with law.
